As the COVID-19 virus continued to mutate, new variants were added to the tracking list of WHO and other Healthcare authorities. Updated on 26 October by WHO, BA.5 remains the most circulating COVID-19 variant globally, accounting for 77% of the cases. Followed by BA.4 and BA.2 with 5.4% and 4.3% cases reported respectively.

To keep pace with the global COVID-19 situation, over 57 variants were validated cumulatively by Pluslife SARS-CoV-2 Nucleic Acid Testing Cards and confirmed the effective detection of all variants.
