Based on the self-developed isothermal amplification technology, RHAM and the derived platform, the Pluslife Mini Dock Molecular System, Pluslife has launched the monkeypox test to the public. Pluslife Monkeypox Test Kit’s CE-IVD certificate would allow it to contribute to early detection and better management of infections inside the European Union (EU).

Alerted by the very first outbreak of the monkeypox virus in April, Pluslife started the development of monkeypox test kit based on the same Pluslife Mini Dock platform. As the World Health Organization (WHO) declared the outbreak of monkeypox to be public health emergency of international concern this July, the Pluslife monkeypox test kit had obtained the CE-IVD certificate beforehand.

On September 7, the situation of the Monkeypox outbreak was further escalated since the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) initiated the authorization of emergency use for the monkeypox virus tests.
